Documents Required for Application:

The application form (including scholarship application

Photo copy of a valid passport or certificate of nationality 

One copy of the highest-level diploma 

One copy of the transcript of the highest degree earned 

An autobiography

One study plan

One copy of a financial statement 

Language proficiency test certificate 

Documents Required by BAITIA:

Autobiography

Research proposal

Representative works (one or more 10-15 page term papers)

Complete undergraduate transcripts

Proof of English proficiency (Equivalent to or higher than CEFR B1 level, but not required for applicants from English-speaking countries) 

Any other work that may facilitate the review of the application (e.g. Letters of recommendation)

 

Student Scholarship

  • Stipend
  • General Fee and Tuition Reduction (Partial reduction and full waiver)

The Award Period: a maximum of 2 years

Maximum Exemption of Tuition Fees (tuition per credit): up to 12 credits per semester for 2 years

Examination Principles:

  • Applicants who present other documents which are beneficial for examination might gain discretionary bonus points.
  • The International Affair Council has jurisdiction over the list of students who are awarded scholarships.

Graduation Requirements

  • 30 credits (9 credits of required courses + 21 credits of elective courses)
  • Finish writing master’s thesis(in English) and pass the master’s degree oral defense examination

 

Fees

  • General Fees: NT $27,776 per semester (2 semesters in 1 year)
  • Tuition (fee of each credit): NT$2,600
  • Dormitory: NT$11,289 per semester (2-person room)
  • Living Expenses: about NT$6,000-NT$10,000 per month
  • Health Insurance: 

International Student Medical Insurance: NT$4,956 per semester

Life Insurance: NT$325 per semester
